pepparkuka cookies, mom's

AKA Swedish Ginger Snaps. These cookies are roll out cookies, and while mom didn't add cutting them out with cookie cutters to her recipe, this is what I do with them before baking them. Enjoy!

Ingredients For pepparkuka cookies, mom's

  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 lb
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    corn syrup
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1
    egg
  • 3 1/4 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    ginger
  • 3 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    ground cloves

How To Make pepparkuka cookies, mom's

  • 1
    Cream salt, butter and sugar. Add 2 1/2 cups flour and remaining ingredients. Use remaining ingredients to roll dough out. Bake at 375 degrees 5 minutes.
