My family loves these. I make them for gifts in my cookies box. But realy great any time of the year. I use freash pecans,only because we have a few trees.

Ingredients For pecan tarts

  • 2/3 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1
    egg beaten
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, light
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter melted
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 dash
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 2 box
    mini fillo shells

How To Make pecan tarts

    preheat oven 350
  • 2
    Partly fill shells with pecans on cookie sheet
  • 3
    make filling with remaining ingredients
  • 4
    By tsp pour over pecan shells otional-top with 1/2 pecan
  • 5
    bake 18-20 min. until golden remove to cool. I don't let them cool on the cookie sheet.
