These were my grandfather's favorite cookies. Melt in your mouth and not too sweet!

Ingredients For pecan puffs

1 1/2 cbutter, softened

2/3 csugar

2 1/4 cchopped pecans

3 call-purpose flour
-
1 tspvanilla extract
- FROSTING

2 Tbspbutter, room temperature

3 cpowdered sugar

2 Tbspcocoa powder
-
1 tspvanilla extract

4 Tbspmilk
How To Make pecan puffs

1Mix all cookie ingredients thoroughly. Roll into "ping pong" sized balls and place on cookie sheet about 2 in apart. Flatten slightly with thumb. Bake at 350 deg for approximately 7-10 mins. Watch closely to not burn the bottoms. Let cool completely.

2Cream together all frosting ingredients. Frost each cookie and Enjoy! Makes 4 dozen.
