  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    finely chopped pecans
  • powdered sugar

How To Make pecan meltaways

    In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans. Chill. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm. Makes about 4 dozen.
