Ingredients For peanut crunchies

1 cbutter, or margarine

1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

2egg yolks

1 tspvanilla

2 call purpose flour

1 tspsalt

2egg whites, slightly beaten
-
2 cchopped, salted, peanuts
- FILLING

1/2 cpeanut butter
-
1/2 capple jelly
How To Make peanut crunchies

1Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla. Sift flour and salt together. Stir into sugar mixture.

2Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Dip in slightly beaten egg whites, roll in peanuts, and place on ungreased baking sheet.

3Bake in preheated (375 F) oven 5 minutes. Remove from oven; press thumb gently into top of each cookie. Return to oven for 8 minutes.

4Cool cookies. Mix filling ingredients together. Fill cookies with peanut-jelly filling.
