Probably my second favorite cookie, coming a close second to Oatmeal, Raisin Scotchies.

Ingredients For peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate chip cookies

  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    shorteniing
  • 1 c
    peanut butter
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 c
    quick oats
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips

How To Make peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate chip cookies

    Cream butter, shortening, sugars together. Add peanut butter and mix. Add eggs, and mix until well combined.

    In separate bowl add flour, salt, baking powder and soda together.

    Slowly add to wet ingredients and mix until well combined
  • 4
    Add chocolate chips, and quick oats and stir to combine.

    Drop by teaspoons (or use cookie scoop) onto greased cookie sheet or parchment paper (much easier and cookie bottoms are prettier)

    Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and then remove wax or parchment paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
