The first time I made these cookies, I took them to work and put them in the lunchroom without saying I baked them. Everyone loved them. They were gone in no time. Nice twist on oatmeal cookies.

Ingredients For peanut butter & chocolate oatmeal cookies

  • 1 1/2 c
    peanutbutter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3
    eggs
  • 4 c
    snoqualmie falls lodge oatmeal
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips

How To Make peanut butter & chocolate oatmeal cookies

    Preheat oven to 325F. Using an electric mixer, cream together peanut butter, sugars, butter, vanilla and baking soda on low speed until smooth.

    Add eggs and continue to beat mixture until blended. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips until blended.

    Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 8-12 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies
