These make a good addition to a cookie tray. Love them warm out of the oven with a glass of cold milk. 8)

Ingredients For peanut butter chip cookies

  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 3/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    12oz. pkg. ghirardeli milk chocolate or semi-sweet chips
  • additional sugar for rolling
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract

How To Make peanut butter chip cookies

    In a mixing bowl, cream butter, peanut butter and sugars. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.

    Roll into 1 inch balls; roll in additional sugar. Place 2 inches apart on parchment lined baking sheet. Flatten if desired. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Makes 4 dozen.
