Ingredients For peanut butter blossoms

48hershey's kisses, unwrapped

1/2 cshortening, butter flavor
-
3/4 cpeanut butter, creamy
-
1/3 csugar

1/3 clight brown sugar

1egg
-
2 Tbspmilk
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract

1 1/2 cflour, all purpose

1 tspbaking soda
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
additional granulated sugar
How To Make peanut butter blossoms

1Pre-heat oven to 375F. Unwrap Kisses.

2Beat shortening and peanut butter in a large bowl until well blended. Add the sugars, beat until fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla, bet well. Stir together the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beast into the peanut butter mixture.

3Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet.

4Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie; cookies will crack around the edges. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
