2 tspvanilla extract

1/2 cpeanut butter, creamy

1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 Tbspcorn syrup, dark

1 1/2 call-purpose flour

1/8 cunsweetened cocoa powder

3/4 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspbaking soda

1/4 tspsalt

3 ozsemi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cdried cherries
How To Make peanut butter and chocolate cherry cookies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a sauce pan, melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stir frequently. Remove sauce pan from heat. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder.

2In a large bowl, mix chocolate mixture, sugar and brown sugar, vanilla, dark corn syrup, and peanut butter. Whisk in eggs, one at a time. Gradually add in flour mixture. Add chocolate chips and cherries, stir until evenly mixed.

3Shape dough by rounded tablespoons, place balls 1 1/2 inches apart, on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork in a crisscross pattern. Bake with love for 10-12 minutes.
