Ingredients For oreo biscotti

1 csugar
-
1/3 cbutter, melted
-
3 lgeggs
-
1 Tbsppure vanilla extract

3 call purpose flour
-
1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspsalt
-
16double stuf regular oreo cookies, chopped

1 cchocolate chips, milk or dark chocolate (whatever you like)

2 Tbspshortening, butter flavor
How To Make oreo biscotti

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2In large bowl, combine sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla; mix well. Add flour, baking powder & salt; mix well. Stir in chopped oreos. Divide dough in 1/2. Shape each 1/2 into 9 x 13" loaf on greased baking sheet with floured hands. Bake 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown.

3Remove from oven; cool 10 minutes. Cut each loaf diagonally into 16 slices. Place slices, cut side up, on same baking sheet. Bake an additional 10 - 12 minutes on each side or until toasted on both sides. Cool on rack.

4Once cooled, microwave chocolate & shortening together & stir until smooth. Dip each biscotti 1/2 in mixture & place back on same baking sheet to dry completely.

5VARIATIONS: Use different flavored oreos to mix things up a bit.
