Grandma Carroll was famous for her baking. She taught me a similar one bowl dump recipe before she died. She didn't use a recipe so I had to watch and take notes while she made them. After some tweeking, I've finally mastered the results I was looking for.

How To Make old school pecan cookies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Cream brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt. Add oatmeal, nuts and coconut to dry mixture Combine dry mixture to creamed sugar.

3Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cooking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
