Ingredients For old fashioned tea cakes

1 cshortening

2 csugar

4eggs

4 cself rising flour

1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make old fashioned tea cakes

1No Milk, No Liquid. Mix all ingredients together except the flour.

2Gradually add the flour 1 cup at a time. When completely mixed, roll into a ball

3Roll out and cut with large cookie cutters. Add small amount of flour to surface, use dough roller to roll out dough.

4Bake at 375 oven until slightly brown around the outer edges. Let cool on flat surface.
