old-fashioned graham cracker cookies
My mom made these for me and my brother when we were kids. She always called them "poor man's cookies." My kids always liked them too. It doesn't take much to make and the recipe can be halved if it makes too many cookies for you. Believe me, they won't last long! Really good with a tall cold glass of milk.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
A simple and classic graham cracker cookie kids and adults will love. The lightly sweet graham cracker is the perfect contrast to the thick and creamy peanut butter filling. Similar in texture to frosting, the filling is sandwiched between two graham cracker cookies. This is a quick and easy treat that's perfect for a snack or light dessert. This reminds us of an after-school dessert we had as kids all the time. You could easily put a bowl of filling on a plate with graham crackers and let kids assemble the cookies themselves.
