Ingredients For oatmeal walnut cookies

1 1/2 cflour

1 tspbaking soda

1 1/2 tspcinnamon

1 tspsalt

1 1/4 cbutter, softened

3/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 csugar

1egg
-
1 tspvanilla extract

3 crolled oats
-
1 1/4 ccoarsely chopped and lightly toasted walnuts
How To Make oatmeal walnut cookies

1preheat oven to 375.

2lightly grease cookie sheets. combine first set of dry ingredients in a large bowl with a wire whisk.

3in a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugars. add egg and vanilla. combine completely.

4slowly add flour mixture until combined. hand stir in oats and walnuts.

5drop 2 tablespoons of dough onto prepared cookie sheets. bake for 12-14 minutes.

6take from oven and allow to cool on cookie sheets for 1-2 minutes.

7remove cookies to wire rack and cool completely before storing them in a cookie jar with a loose lid.
