Basically an oatmeal cookie with butterscotch chips. Quite tasty, just be careful not to overbake them!

Ingredients For oatmeal scotchies

1 1/4 cflour

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspground cinnamon

1 cbutter, softened

3/4 csugar
-
3/4 cbrown sugar

2eggs
-
1 Tbspvanilla

3 cquick or old fashioned oats

1 pkgbutterscotch morsels (1 2/3 cup)
How To Make oatmeal scotchies

1Heat oven to 350 (the original says 375, but I always bake cookies at a slightly lower temp then recipes say to do).

2Combine flour, soda, salt and cinnamon in small bowl. Cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Gradually add in flour mixture to the butter mixture. Stir in oats and morsels.

3Drop by rounded tabespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 7-9 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for about 2 minutes before moving to wire rack to cool completely.
