Ingredients For oatmeal scotchies

  • 1 1/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    butter or margarine softened
  • 1 2/3 c
    butterscoth morsels (11 oz package)
  • 3/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 3/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 2
    large eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla or grated peel of 1 orange
  • 3 c
    old fashioned rolled oats

How To Make oatmeal scotchies

  • 1
    Preheat over to 375. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon & salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl. Gratdually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats & morsels. Grease 15 x 10 inch jelly-roll pan. Spread dough into prepared pan. Bake for 18 - 22 min. or until light brown. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
