Ingredients For oatmeal-date cookies

1/2 cpacked light brown sugar

1/4 cmargarine, softened

1egg plus 1 egg white, lightly beaten

1 Tbspthawed frozen apple juice concentrate

1 tspvanilla extract

1 1/2 call-purpose flour
-
2 tspbaking soda
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1 1/2 cuncooked quick oats

1/2 cchopped dates or raisins
How To Make oatmeal-date cookies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly coat cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray; Set aside.

2Beat sugar and margarine in large bowl. Add egg white, apple juice and vanilla; Mix well. Add flour, baking soda and salt; Mix well. Stir in oats and dates. Drop by rounded teaspoonsfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.

3Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are very lightly browned. (Centers should still be soft)Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets. Remove to wire rack and cool completely. 65 calories 11 carbohydrates 2 grams of fat 1 gram of fiber
