These are very delicate cookies , similar to a lace cookie.. Use only real butter and be sure to pack the dough tight so they don't crumble. Spacing is also important. Letting them cool on cookie sheet is a must. Now after saying all that , they are really very easy to make and they are scrumpdidlelylisch.

2 cregular rolled oats

1 cbrown sugar, not packed

2 tspbaking powder

1/2 cbutter, melted

1 lgegg,beaten
How To Make oatmeal crisps

1Heat oven to 350^. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. set aside.

2Mix the oats, sugar, and baking powder together.

3Add butter to the mixture, then stir in the beaten egg.

4Using a teaspoon measure, pack mixture in well. Place 3 inches apart on parchment paper(they spread).

5Bake 10-12 minutes. Let cool on pan at least 5 minutes and remove from cookie sheet to crisp up more. .Place in air tight box.
