3/4 cfirmly packed brown sugar

1/2 cmargarine or butter, softened

2 cquick or old fashion oats uncooked

1 mdapple shredded peeled

How To Make oatmeal apple cookies

1Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat together brown sugar and margarine (or butter if your using butter), until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in apples and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonsfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 -12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet: remove to wire cooling rack.

2Combine powdered sugar and milk. drizzle over cooled cookies. Store in tightly covered container.
