1/2 lb(2 sticks) butter, softened

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cgranulated sugar

2eggs
-
1 tspvanilla extract

1 1/2 call-purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspcinnamon
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
3 coats (quick or old fashioned)

1 craisins
How To Make oat meal raisin cookies

1Heat oven to 350°F.

2Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

3Whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; stir together until no streaks remain. Stir this into the butter mixture.

4Stir in oats and raisins; mix well.

5Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Makes about 4 dozen.
