Ingredients For norwegian cookies
- CREAM:

1 cbutter (or shortening)
-
2 1/4 cbrown sugar
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
3eggs & mix with above items
- MIX TOGETHER:

1 tspcinnamon
-
1 tspnutmeg
-
1 tspground clove
-
2 1/4 cflour
- ADD:
-
1 cnuts (pecans, walnuts, etc.)

1 1/2 cgolden raisins
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract
- FROSTING
-
1 cpowdered sugar
-
1 Tbspmelted butter
-
hot water to get to spreading consistency
How To Make norwegian cookies

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Cream butter, brown sugar and salt. Add 3 eggs and mix.

3Mix together cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and flour. Then add nuts, raisins, and vanilla. Spread batter in greased 10 1/2 X 15 1/2 pan. Bake 20 - 25 minutes at 350.

4While cookies are warm, frost cookies.
