This is supposed to be the recipe that they use in the Nieman Marcus Stores. Whether it is or not, it doesn't matter, they are delish. There are a lot of ingredients, but it makes ALOT of cookies, about 4 dozen.

Ingredients For nieman marcus cookies

  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 12 oz
    chocolate chips
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 4 oz
    hershey bar, busted into small pieces
  • 2 1/2 c
    oatmeal
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    nuts-----your choice, i use walnuts

How To Make nieman marcus cookies

    Pre heat oven to 375 degrees Measure oatmeal and blend in blender or food processor to a fine powder

    In mixing bowl, cream together butter and both sugars, add eggs and vanilla.

    In a large bowl, combine oatmeal, flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Slowly add to mixing bowl while its running a low to mediem speed. Add choclate chips, hershey bar and nuts. (the cookie dough is really thick, you may have to stir in the choclate and nuts by hand)

    Put on greased cookie sheets, by the tablespoon full and bake for 10 minutes
