Ingredients For nanaimo bars

1/2 cbutter

1/4 csugar

1/4 ccocoa powder

1egg,beaten
-
1 1/2 cgraham cracker crumbs

1 ccoconut
-
1/2 cwalnuts
- LAYER #2

1/2 cbutter

3 Tbspheavy cream
-
2 Tbspvanilla pudding mix

2 cicing sugar*
- LAYER #3

1 csemi sweet chocolate

1 Tbspbutter

How To Make nanaimo bars

1Layer #1: In a double boiler,melt the butter,sugar and cocoa powder. Fold in the egg. Stir until thickened, then remove at once from heat. Fold in the remaining ingredients. Press into a 9x9 inch pan.

2Layer #2: Cream together the butter,cream and pudding mix. Fold in the sugar. Beat until very light. Pour on top of the cookie crust.

3Layer #3: In a double boiler, melt the chocolate. Fold in the butter. Cool. Pour onto second layer. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Cut and serve.
