Everyone has had chocolate "no-bakes" right? Well, these are peanut butter! They are so good-I make them several times a year to take to work or just to keep in the fridge for us to munch on.

2 csugar

1 stickmargarine

1 1/2 tspvanilla extract

1/2 cmilk

2 cquick cooking oats

1 cpeanut butter, creamy
How To Make my mom's candy cookies

1add sugar, butter, milk and vanilla to a medium saucepan. bring to a boil, and boil for 1 1/2 minutes exactly-stirring constantly.

2remove from heat, add oats and peanut butter. stir until mixture begins to thicken.

3Drop by teaspoons full onto wax paper and allow to set up. enjoy! (I like to keep these on a plate in the fridge with wax paper between the layers and a covering of saran wrap. Somehow they are super good cold!!
