Brenda is a Queen in this recipe as well as Beauty Queen.. She is one of my good friends that is so dear to me... I have tried to imitate her cookies and have not been yet able to reproduce them. She has a magic touch! I have been so fortunate to have such a friend that would spoil me so many times with this treat.

1 cbutter, softened

1/2 cpowdered sugar

How To Make brenda's snow cookies

1Preheat oven to 325. Beat butter with an electric mixer on medium high speed for 30 seconds. Add the sugar and beat until combined. Beat in water and vanilla until combined. Beat in as much of the flour as you can and stir in the rest. Stir in the pecans.

2Shape dough into small balls. Place one inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 15 minutes or until bottoms are light brown. Brenda's secret is that she would put the warm cookies in a bowl where she added the powdered sugar and coated the cookies generously. Another secret of hers is that the cookies are tastier the day after you make them.
