This is my most all time favorite sugar cookie ever. They melt in your mouth.

Ingredients For mrs. lucille sugar cookies

  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    crisco
  • 1 c
    corn oil
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla or lemon extract
  • 4 1/2 c
    sifted flour
  • 1 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt

How To Make mrs. lucille sugar cookies

    Cream together butter and Crisco.
  • 2
    Mix in: corn oil, sugar and powdered sugar.

    Add: eggs, vanilla or lemon extract, sifted flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.

    Dough will be very soft but not sticky. Drop a small ball of dough on parchment covered cookie sheet. Press down with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 10-12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 3-5 minutes and transfer to wire rack to finish cooling.
