My mom used to make these every year for Thanksgiving, and by days end my older sister and I would have finished them off! I LOVE THESE!!!

Ingredients For persimmon cookies

1 cpersimmon pulp (mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda)

1 cgranulated sugar

1 cchopped walnuts

1 craisins or cranraisins

2 call-purpose flour

1egg

1/2 cvegetable shortening

1 tspcinnamon, ground

1 tspnutmeg

1 tspallspice, ground

1 tspsalt
How To Make persimmon cookies

1Combine ALL ingredients, and mix well.

2Drop by table spoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

3Bake at 325 for 12-15 minutes. Cookies should be firm, but not crunchy and soft but not gooey.
