At Christmas I make a batch of this dough and roll them into gingerbread men, women and houses and frost. They are one of the best cookies I have ever eaten, my family likes the regular cookie all year long.

Ingredients For molasses krinkles

1 1/2 cshortening

2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

2eggs, beaten

1/2 cmolasses

4 1/2 call purpose flour

4 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspkosher salt

1 tspground cloves
-
2 tspcinnamon

2 tspground ginger
How To Make molasses krinkles

1Mix together the shortening, brown sugar, eggs and molasses.

2Mix all dry ingredients together. Add two mixtures together.

3Chill dough. Roll into balls and then into sugar.

4Bake at 375-degrees for 10-12 minutes.

5This cookie may also be rolled and cut out. Then frost with desired frosting.
