These are rich and buttery. They are traditional Mexican shortbread cookies that are very popular with everyone,in my neck of the woods, at anytime...not just at weddings!

Ingredients For mexican wedding cookies

1 cmagerine

1/2 cpowdered sugar,sifted

2 cflour,sifted

1 tspvanilla

1/3 cwalnut or pecans, finely chopped

powdered sugar
How To Make mexican wedding cookies

1cream together margerine and 1/2 c sifted powdered sugar

2Add flour, vanilla and nuts and mix well.

3Shape dought into walnut shaped balls.

4Place on oiled cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until they begin to brown.

5Cool for 5 minutes and roll in powdered sugar
