This cookie is very light. I don't frost these with icing. They are kinda fragile and taste great with just sugar sprinkled on top or you could do cinnamon and sugar. I recommend you double the recipe!

Ingredients For melt in your mouth sugar cookies

2 call purpose flour

1 tspcream of tartar

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

1 cpowdered sugar

1 cshortening
-
1 tspvanilla

1egg
How To Make melt in your mouth sugar cookies

1Sift together (I don't sift, I mix, but..) the first 4 ingredients.

2Cream the sugar and shortening. Add egg and vanilla to the creamed mixture.

3Beat and slowly add the dry ingredients until well combined.

4Roll dough into balls (1/2 the size of a golfball) and place on cookie sheet. Flatten the balls with a bottom of a glass dipped in grandulated sugar.

5Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
