ma's old-fashion oatmeal and raisin cookies

My Ma would make these when we were kids~there are 7 of us~this recipe makes a lot of cookies. She was hoping they would last a day or two and they did.

Ingredients For ma's old-fashion oatmeal and raisin cookies

2eggs
-
1/2 cmargarine
-
1/2 cshortening
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1 1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 csugar
-
1 tspcinnamon
-
1/2 tspground cloves
-
1 tspvanilla extract
- CREAM THESE ABOVE TOGETHER

3 call purpose flour
-
1 cmilk
-
2 coatmeal, uncooked
- TAKE RAISINS AND BRING THEM TO A FULL BOIL IN PAN OF WATER.

1 1/2 craisins
How To Make ma's old-fashion oatmeal and raisin cookies

1Cream the first ingredients. Add flour in intervals with milk, mix well stir in uncooked oatmeal.

2Scoop or spoon onto parchment paper cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes.

3I always put a piece of bread wrapped in a napkin in the bottom of my cookie jar~the bread will keep your cookies,bars etc. soft.
