1 cbutter

1/2 cbrown sugar

2eggs, divided

1 tspvanilla

2 cflour

1/2 tspsalt

1 lgbag pecans, chopped
How To Make madeleine's thumb print cookies, 2

1Mix butter, sugar, egg yolks and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt. Roll dough into small balls and dip into slightly beaten egg whites. Roll into pecans, bake 1" apart on cookie sheets at 375 degrees for 5 min. Make thumb print and bake an additional 8 minutes. Cool and ice.
