These fruit little squares are a sweet,and easy dessert to bring along for potlucks and BBQ's. Yet elegant enough for bridle showers, weddings and teas.

Ingredients For lime squares
- CRUST:

2 call purpose flour

1 cbutter, softened

1/2 cgranulated sugar, (i have also done this using powdered sugar)
- FILLING:

4eggs
-
pinchsalt
-
2 csugar
-
6 Tbspfresh lime juice

4 Tbspflour
-
1 tspbaking powder
-
2drops green food coloring
How To Make lime squares

1Mix first 3 ingredients and press into 9x13inch pan. Bake 18 minutes at 350 degrees.

2Beat eggs, add remaining ingredients. Pour over hot crust. Bake 22 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top after baking.

3Allow squares to cool filling will firm up as they cool. Cut into squares with completely cool.
