These have a light molasses taste and are rolled in cinnamon sugar before baking. A wonderful light not to sweet cookie that is wonderful with coffee or tea as an afternoon pick me up

Ingredients For lightly molasses cookies

1 stickbutter

1 mdegg

1/3 csugar

1/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 tspbaking powder

2 cflour (if glutin free is your way use spelt -i did)

1 Tbspdark molasses
- CINNAMON SUGAR

How To Make lightly molasses cookies

1Heat oven to 350 degrees Mix together egg, white and brown sugars and butter. beat well. add baking powder, molasses and salt. beat together. add flour mixing well.

2roll into a log and pinch off a 1 inch chunk and roll in cinnamon sugar and put on baking pan. continue until all the dough is gone.

3bake 10 minutes. allow to cool or serve warm
