Here is a cookie that will explode with flavor in your mouth after the first bite. If you like raspberry, then you will love these cookies. My family request these, all the time. Not just for holidays anymore....I bet once you try these, they will become a favorite of yours:)

Ingredients For lemon iced raspberry cookies

1 cbutter or margerine

1egg

1 1/2 cpowered sugar

2 tspraspberry flavoring

2 1/2 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspcream of tartar
-
4drops of red food coloring

glaze:
-
powered sugar & real lemon juice
-
red or yellow sugar crystals
How To Make lemon iced raspberry cookies

1Mix powered sugar, butter, raspberry flavoring & egg in a large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover & chill for at least 2 hours.

2I use a large cookie scoop to make the cookies the same size. Place on a lightly greased or lined cookie sheet with parchman paper. Flatten the cookies before you bake them. I use the bottom of a 1 cup measuring cup! (I use parchman paper).

3Heat oven to 375F

4Bake 4:30 min, turn sheet & bake 4:30 more

5Glaze: mix enough powered sugar & real lemon juice to spreadable consistency, ice cookies & then add colored sugar on top...ENJOY!
