Ingredients For lemon cheese bars

  • 1 box
    18.25 ounces,yellow cake mix with pudding
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/3 cup c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 pkg
    cream chhese,softened (8 ounces)
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    fresh lemon juice

How To Make lemon cheese bars

    PREHEAT the oven to 350 degrees

    In a medium sized bowl,combine the cake mix,1 egg,and the oil,mix until crumbly

    reserve 1 cup of the mixture

    Lightly pat down the remaining mixture into an ungreased 9 X13 baking pan.

    Bake for 15 minutes,cool slightly

    MEANWHILE,in another medium-sized bowl,beat together the remaining egg,cream cheese,sugar and lemon juice until light and smooth.

    Spread over the cooled baked layer

    Sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture and bake for 15 minutes more or until light golden,
