My sister in law gave me this recipe about 35 years ago. She bragged on it and bragged on it till finally I tried it (I'm not a fan of lemony things) and low and behold it was as good as she had bragged!

Ingredients For lemon bars

1 cmargarine

2 cflour
-
1/2 cpowdered sugar

2 cgranulated sugar

4 Tbspflour

1 tspbaking powder

4eggs
-
6 Tbsplemon juice

grated rind from one lemon
How To Make lemon bars

1Blend margarine, 2 cups flour and powdered sugar. Pat into 9X13 pan and bake 15 minutes or until light brown

2Sift sugar, flour and baking powder, add eggs, lemon juice and rind. Blend well. Spread over baked crust.

3Bake 25 minutes in 350F oven and cool. Cut into squares. Dust with powdered sugar.
