Ingredients For koulourakia ( butter cookies)

1 cbutter, unsalted

1/2 cshortening, butter flavor

2 csugar

2eggs

6 cflour. i use half cake and half all purpose

4 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

1/2- 3/4 tspcinnamon

1 cheavy cream
-
2-4 tspvanilla extract
-
1beaten egg
-
sesame seeds
How To Make koulourakia ( butter cookies)

1Cream butter, sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.

2Beat in eggs and vanilla

3Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt

4Add cream and mix
-
5Shape dough and put on greased cookie sheet

6Brush with egg and top with sesame seeds Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes or until golden
