karens almond cookies

My italian family always had a "cookie contest" after Christmas dinner. We'd all put our cookies on display and tried to figure out which was the best one. We were all winners! One of the recipes was for these almond cookies. They are kinda firm outside but soft and yummy inside. I make them every year now! They also freeze wonderfully so you can enjoy them year round.
