I remember my Mother always making these DELICIOUS simple cookies when we were kids! You can vary flavoring and use any sprinkles you like. I made these for Halloween last year for a party and they are always a huge hit! Enjoy!

Ingredients For italian sprinkle cookies

2sticks of butter softened

1 csugar
-
4egg yolks
-
2whole eggs
-
1/4 cmilk

1/2 bottleorange or anise extract

1 tspvanilla extract

3 1/2 call purpose flour

3 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 1/2 cpowerded sugar

3-5 Tbspmilk

How To Make italian sprinkle cookies

1Cream Butter and Sugar, add egg yolks, whole eggs, milk, orange (or anise) extract, and Vanilla. Gradually Flour and Baking Soda mixture. If dough is sticky add a bit more flour.

2Roll dough into balls and place on non-stick cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until bottoms are slighty brown.

3Mix Powdered Sugar and Milk together for glaze, refrigerate.

4When cookies are completely cooled, dip top side down in icing, place on a wire rack and decorate with candy sprinkles.
