Ingredients For isabell's lemon butter snowbars

  • CRUST:
  • 1/2 c
    sweet cream butter, softened
  • 1 1/3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    white sugar (granulated sugar)
  • FILLING:
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • powdered sugar

How To Make isabell's lemon butter snowbars

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350^ Crust: In mixer bowl, combine crust ingredients. Mix until blended(about 1 minute). Pat down into an ungreased 8-inch square baking pan. Bake in center of oven for 15-20 minutes or until a little brown on edges. Remove from oven. set aside. --- Filling: Combine filling ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Pour filling over the partially baked crust. Return to oven for 18-20 minutes or until set. Cool. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top.
