    quick cooking oats
  • 1 c
    flaked coconut
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1/3 c
    honey

How To Make honey crunchies

    In a large bowl, mix the oats, coconut, pecans and flour.

    In a heavy sauce pan, heat the brown sugar, butter and honey until it reaches a boil.

    Pour the honey mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.

    Drop the dough by rounded teaspoon into greased muffin tins so that the cookies retain their shape.

    Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

    Cool in the pan.
