Ingredients For holiday snickerdoodles

2 Tbspdecors red sugar

1 Tbspcinnamon, ground

2 Tbspdecors green sugar

1 1/2 csugar

1/2 cshortening

1/2 cbutter, softened

2eggs

2 3/4 call purpose flour

2 tspcream of tartar

1 tspbaking soda

1/4 tspsalt
How To Make holiday snickerdoodles

1First pre heat the oven to 400F. Then in a small bowl mix red sugar & 1 1/2 teaspoons of the cinnamon & set aside. Then in another small bowl mix green sugar & remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon & set aside.

2Next in a large bowl beat sugar, shortening, butter & eggs with electric mixer on medium speed or mix with spoon. Then stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda & salt.

3Next shape dough into 3/4-inch balls & roll in sugar cinnamon mixtures. Then place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

4Then bake for about 8 to 10 mins or until centers are almost set. Then cool 1 minute remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Let cool completely for about 30 mins
