Ingredients For hodgepodge cookies

2 sticks butter, soft or 1 stick butter and 1 cup chunky peanut butter

3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs
-
1 tsp vanilla
-
1 3/4 cup flour
-
1/2 cup quick oats
-
1 tsp baking soda
-
1/2 tsp cinnamon
-
1/4 tsp salt

12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet real chocolate chips

1 cup flaked coconut
-
2/3 cup chopped nuts (optional)

1/2 cup raisins or dried cherries (optional)
How To Make hodgepodge cookies

1Preheat oven to 375° F. Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Mix in flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir in chocolate chips, coconut, nuts and raisins OR dried cherries.

2Drop by rounded teaspoon onto UN-greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets to cool. Makes about 8 dozen cookies.
