If you like a crunchier cookie, these are for you! With 1 cup of chopped hazelnuts you not only get lots of flavor but also lots of crunch! I added white chocolate chips but add any flavor chips you'd like or don't add any!!

Ingredients For hazelnut crunchers

1/2 cunsalted butter, softened

1/2 cpacked light brown sugar

1/3 csugar

1 lgegg
-
1/2 tspvanilla

1 c+ 2 t. flour

1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1 pinchsalt
-
1 cchopped hazelnuts
-
1 cwhite chocolate chips (optional)
How To Make hazelnut crunchers

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.

2In a large bowl, cream butter and both sugars. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.

3In a small separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and blend well. Fold in chopped hazelnuts (and chips if desired.)

4Drop 1 inch size balls of cookie dough into prepared pan. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool completely.
