This is the perfect recipe for beginner-bakers. The design is completely customizable. You can take this idea and use sugar cookie dough, or use colored buttercreams. Feel free to add M&M's to the top of the cookie cake before baking.

1Preheat oven to 325. In a stand mixer, combine cookie dough and corn syrup.

2Line a 12x17 rimmed cookie sheet with parchment paper. Press cookie dough mixture onto the baking pan. Bake 25-30 minutes.

3Let cool completely. Trim all edges of cookie cake.

4Frost edges of cookie cake, alternating white and fudge frosting. Decorate center of cake as preferred.
