This is a recipe I always watched my Granny make for us after school and summers. As an adult, I was not able to get a copy of it until my Pawpa found her recipe box and passed it along to me. So happy to have it and so happy to share this sweet recipe and memory.

Ingredients For granny's peanut butter cookies

1/2 cbutter

1/2 cpeanut butter

1/2 cwhite sugar

1/2 cbrown sugar

1egg, beaten
-
11/2 cflour
-
3/4 tspbaking soda

1 1/4 tspsalt

1 1/2 tspbaking powder
How To Make granny's peanut butter cookies

1Mix all ingredients in a chilled bowl.

2Empty bowl onto wax paper. Shape into a roll and wrap in wax paper. Chill in icebox for 20 minutes.

3Slice and bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes.
