1/2 cdark molasses

2eggs

4 tspbaking powder

4 1/2 cflour

1 tspcloves

2 tspcinnamon

additional sugar to roll out cookies
How To Make granny ruth's molasses suger cookies

1Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses and eggs BEAT WELL.

2Add dry ingredients and stir until dough is mixed well.

3Form 1 inch balls roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
