I've been making these cookies since I was a little girl. I've taught my daughter to make these cookies when she was a little girl. Now she is teaching her son and daughter to make these same cookies. They stand up to the test of time. They are not to peanut buttery nor are they too sweet but just right!

1 1/4 cflour, plain

3/4 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspbaking soda

1/4 tspsalt

1/2 cbutter
-
1/2 csugar

1/2 cpeanut butter

1/2 cbrown sugar

1 lgegg, beaten
How To Make grandmaw hulin's peanut butter cookies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Combine sugar and butter beating well until light and fluffy; add brown sugar, beat well until light and fluffy; add peanut butter, beat well until light and fluffy. Add egg; beat well until light and fluffy.

2Gradually add flour mixture to creamed mixture until smooth.

3Drop mixture, 1 teaspoon at a time approximately 2 inches apart, onto an ungreased baking sheet. Press with tines of fork to make a criss-cross pattern if desired.

4Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned.
